I decided to post this card today because -- isn't this what winter has been doing to all of us this year?
This is Harry Houdini's second (and positively final) appearance in the deck. Being lashed to a wagon wheel is just Oh So Very evocative of the five of pentacles... but -- crazy Uncle Harry didn't half have a Messianic Complex did he?
The snow in the air -- which is real snow by the way -- is what made the deign for me. When I turn the snow layer off, the design is okay and all that, but it just sits there. Turn the layer back on and suddenly the card springs to life. Sometimes it's the smallest touch that makes all the difference in the world.
